PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

 

I have spent much of my professional life training both long-term at degree and

diploma level and short-term with workshops, seminars and conferences.

 

I now run CPD workshops for individuals and organisations as well as putting on

conferences for organisations such as Brighton University.

 

Some years ago I founded the Raphael Training Institute to provide specialist training for psychotherapists, counsellors and members of the medical and helping professions.

 

 

The Raphael Institute now puts on a wide variety of CPD workshops and seminars. The many successful seminars on Eating Disorders have attracted psychiatrists, GPs and mental health and social workers. These courses have included a general introduction to the disorders as well as specialist courses on anorexia, bulimia, binge eating and obesity.

 

Other courses include those for employers to help with issues in the workplace and those for priests to help with issues of conflict and anger . In addition I have run workshops on Couples Counselling, CBT, Mindfulness and Spiritual Counselling as well as working with other trainers in Groupwork and Anger Management.
